Hi,

what's the consensus these days, what's the best cart for 2017 Outback? I sold my wheelez, and my new (to me) Outback does not like my other cart.

I kind of expect "beach wheelez all the way" , but maybe there is something new?

Also, I saw some of new carts with different types of wheels - not balloon - claiming they work on sand. Any 1st-hand experience? I expect it to mostly used on an asphalt / hard surface, but might occasionally need to move on a sand.

Thanks!

I have 2107 Outback and exclusively use Hobie TRAX 2-30 cart for beach launch and Hobie Heavy Duty Plug-In Cart for ramp launch.  I have a Wheelez Beach Cart too, but it doesn't work well for the 2017 Outback hull shape.  I use Wheelez Beach Cart for Hobie Oasis kayaks.

Thanks, Paul - hull shape was my main concern, thanks for confirming it. I guess I'll need to look more into plug-in carts, never used them. On the land - do you use tricks with bungees to install cart, or unload kayak and turn it sideways?

I use bungees to pull the cart in and lift the kayak to unload it.  For my Heavy Duty plug in cart, I trim the cart to make it shorter and easier to remove.
