With less than a month to go… 17 working days, I notice myself feeling free of the weight of responsibility and planning more fishing trips.😁 I am catching myself checking the wx apps as if they are sharing lottery results. 🫢 …

Congratulations!!!  I pulled the trigger 1.5 years ago and never looked back.  I hear a lot of guys are miserable when they retire, but I'm pretty dang sure they don't fish!!!

My wife insists that my job is so easy it's almost like being retired. I tell her that the great ones make it look easy...

I'll be 58 in July, and must admit, I'm beginning to see that over the horizon.

Congrats on reaching the light at the end of the tunnel. I will be at least semi-retired by the end of the year and then plan to go on at least a three-month camping expedition the following year up and down the coast before taking on some kind of simple part time job. (Or not. The part time job that is   )
