A dodger/hootchie setup is pretty standard gear for both salmon trolling and halibut. The only significant difference is downrigger vs a sinker that's occasionally bouncing off the bottom...

Hum, do you attach your line to the DR ball, or do you mimic a 3-way and use a clip above the weight?
