Middle Harbor Shoreline Park Oakland

Has any one launched from here? Only a couple hundred to the shore and this place is very close to all the party boat holes recently (<1mile). Is this a sketchy area?

Haven't been there on a kayak but took my float tube out there once. The water at the beach is very shallow and you might have to drag your kayak through shin deep water for a bit before it floats. Parking lot didn't seem too sketchy but there weren't really too many people around.
