Hey, good news! The new large Wheeleez cart now comes with the same style balloon tires as the mini cart. Of course the tires are much larger than the mini but they are small enough to fit in the front storage area of my P15. I put some pool noodle material on the axles for a cushion when inside the kayak. Take a look:

Ok...I think your talking about the 8.75" wheels and not the 11.8" wheels.  I think you will want the 11.8" wheels in heavy sand or going up a steep incline.  Jus my 2 cents.

This is not the mini cart. It is the large cart with the large beach balloon tires.  That's why I was supprised when it fit in the kayak  :smt004

OK,

I looked at the website.  They have in Ballon a 22cm (8.75"), 30cm (11.8"), 42cm (16.5") and 49cm (19.3"). The black pneumatic (skinny ones) are 26cm (10.25").
So...which ones are we talking about?

My 42cm (16.5") will fit in my Tarpon 160...no problem.  I have the old style with the double hatches.

Ben, When I picked up my trident at Elk I stored the wheels right in the front hatch no problem. They also have the extra advantage of taking up space with flotation giving the Kayak even more emergency flotation in rough water. I even had room to store my rods...COOL STUFF!

This cart has the 30cm (11.8"),  Width 6-3/4" (17.2 cm).  I was told that this cart would not fit in the P15. But, it does. I don't know much about the Tarpon 160 other than if I find a decent one with the two hatches to get it :smt003
