Well I added another new fishing related hobby.  Took the dive on making my own baits after saving all my torn baits from the last couple years.  A full gallon ziploc turned into more stick baits and beavers than I will use this year.  Still have another 20+ bags that have been sitting in my garage not catching fish. Would much rather see them put to good use.  Any kids or new anglers or really anybody around Sac area that need some super cheap bass baits send me a message.  The baits are not perfect, some have small dents or bubbles.  The fish don't seem to mind.

What are you using to melt your plastics? I haven’t been able to get my plastic melted properly and end up with terrible pours. I recently just started experimenting with making soft plastics and am still learning.

Using just a cheap microwave and a pyrex cup.  30 seconds at a time until it hits 350ish.  I did start adding some brand new plastic to the remelts and it seems to blend all of it together better.  Also been only injecting with my old remelt baits.  Stuff I'm open pouring is always new plastic.  A vacuum chamber is super useful to get all the bubbles out as well.  There is definitely a learning curve
