Hey everyone! Getting ready to sell my bass boat (getting too expensive, always breaking, low lake levels, etc) but still love to fish, so I plan on getting into kayak fishing, both fresh and saltwater. I'm sure I will have a lot of question and always game to meet new people to go on excursions with, so just want to say hi and introduce myself.

Hi dirty birdy,

Just started myself with some fishing and some water sports experience but neither in a kayak or even a boat(much).

Good to see other new members in the North bay as I am in Petaluma.

I am looking for folks to meet up with to learn all I can about this sport.

Welcome DB!  Will be interesting to hear about your experience becoming a kayaker vs being a boater.
