New to this site from Merced. Just bought a kayak and trying to figure out how or where do people launch their kayak at the delta and lakes.

Thanks.

As the warm weather comes, look to the sierras. The Sonora pass has some beautiful lakes with good trout fishing and awesome scenery. Melones, beardsley, pinecrest and on up. Hwy 4 is great also.

Welcome to NCKA from a new member too! Kayak fishing has been an incredibly rewarding experience for me both on salt and freshwater, it makes me feel alive and connected to nature and the elements (the great and the scary ones as well)

Howdy fyaj and welcome to NCKA!  The site has a lot of info on launch locations under the Places to Launch and Camp.  But the Delta and Lakes is a pretty broad topic, so if you think of any place in particular your curious about, post a question about it!  See ya on the water!
