As the warm weather comes, look to the sierras. The Sonora pass has some beautiful lakes with good trout fishing and awesome scenery. Melones,beardsley,pinecrest and on up. Hwy 4 is great also.

Welcome to NCKA from a new member too! Kayak fishing has been an incredibly rewarding experience for me both on salt and freshwater, it makes me feel alive and connected to nature and the elements (the great and the scary ones as well)
