AOTY February Wrap Up.

The second month of AOTY has come and gone. The weather is starting to pick up a bit and some more fish are starting to come across the board. Lets take a look at how AOTY is going!.

81 anglers signed up for AOTY so far. Up from 75 at the end of last month.

9 anglers signed up for Youth AOTY. Up from 6 at the end of last month.

25 fish entered by 14 anglers. Nobody has entered their full 10 fish yet.

Halibut: JewliOn has a 30.0 entered and is sitting on top. He kicked off the season right!
Trout: MarkL has taken the top spot from Pasha with a 21.0 rainbow.
Smallmouth/Spotted Bass: Corey still has the largest at 16.25.
Largemouth: Corey has taken the top spot from Tommcdo with a 19.25
Striped Bass: alshobieoutback has the first and only entered at 19.0
Surf Perch: Ghost still on top at 12.25”
Flatfish: KPD still on tip at 11.25”
Panfish: Snazzyshun still on top at 15.5. Corey got close with a 15.0. Both are very big crappie!

Great job to those who got out and entered some fish! I’ve seen some reports and fish pictures that haven’t showed up in AOTY. Hopefully those of you who have yet to sign up will do so! Its still wide open right now with plenty of time to get involved!

I did think of a side bet of who can get first to 10 species might be fun!  However it occurred to me that quality over quantity is probably a better way to spend my time instead of getting as many species as possible and still having to upgrade.  But fine, race ya! :D

The links I posted should be http, not https? It looks right when I view the post? I will edit and try to fix the links if it doesn’t work.

Your link worked for me, but I noticed the Insecure lock right away, and then saw his URL had (s) in it.  However a simple redirect could be put in place so either works.

It is fun to see a monthly summary like this. I will try to post another fish this month

hmmm i only catch 2 species.

You should branch out. There is more to life than catching bat rays and leopard sharks, you know.  :smt002  :smt006
