We saw a lot of dugout type boats on the Amazon that ran long shafts like that with prop.   Not quite that fast.

I'm guessing they are actually for racing?  How do you turn without flipping?  :smt044

Who needs to turn? I just want to get to the Soquel Hole in 10 minutes or less…
