Westport, CA Rock Fishing Tips?

Hello,
Planning on trying the Westport area to fish off the rocks.

Does anyone have any location/bait tips they would be willing to share here or via PM if you’d prefer it?

I haven’t been up there in many years and have no recall. TX!

I've seen people perch fishing around Westport Union landing (Howard creek).
Probably a better bet would be rock fishing south Bruhel point. Park at the Bruhel vista point and follow the trail to the beach.
The trail ends just about at the north boundary of the Ten Mile Stare Marine Reserve (SMR).
Watch for sneaker waves and make sure you're fishing outside the SMR.
