Prayers for Jerry

I'm so grateful to still be here, I can't stop the tears.  This is a very emotional journey.   
My doctor said my life will be greatly effective, lung capacity will probably be around 65%of what it was.  I live with that.  But I won't be able to risk any infection in the future, I'm still immune compromised from my cancer and always will be.   

I guess this means you won’t be running any more 50 milers

Life is crazy, crazy enough that you may beat that prognosis and still enjoy most of not all aspects of your lifestyle. Fingers crossed this is the outcome you get. Hang in there, hope you have family close to help you cope with the rollercoaster of emotions.

Cancer sucks big time.  My wife is lucky to be a survivor.  I did lose my best friend to cancer a couple years ago.

Stay strong and keep smiling.
