Hello everyone, new guy to this site.  I go by Hunters Pa in So Cal, but I'm #18 (Shawn Grimm) on the list for this trip.  Unbelievable!  I can't stop thinking about this!  I have already sent a message into the ISlander for a recommender gear list.  Wife thinks I've finally fully lost it, but she gave me the OK after upping the life insurance.

I'll post anything I hear from them.  Can't wait!

Headlamp

Paul had already told me these were needed.  From the Islander I was looking more for what rods/reels to make sure I had covered and what terminal tackle would be MUST HAVE out there.  I have a pretty good idea, but want to make sure.  I don't want to get out there and be pissed at myself for missing out on some fish because I left the wrong jigs at home.

Sorry to miss this but the brief period of flip flopping the dates resulted in me losing the coverage for my practice that I had nailed down and haven't been able to get a replacement backup.  Have a great time everyone!

Sorry you can't make it but I entirely understand. I was counting on you doing CPR if I had a coronary from the the giant YFT sleigh ride.  Maybe next year. Still have a primo 30# rig reserved for you when you make it.

Thanks Danglin.  Missed that one.  I think my wife is already tired of me being excited about this.  She just upped my life insurance.  150# of me out there in an old SPTW - good call on her part.

I got my script for the Scope patches last Friday and the pharmacy had them in on Saturday.  I have also been upgrading my warn out gear and also purchased a new wet suit and dry top so now I have two and will not have to put on a clammy wet suit on the second day  .
