What side do you like to have your fish finder on? Right or left and why?

I installed it in Right because I keep the left side clear to get in/out of the kayak.
Also, I prefer having my fishing rod left.

I have my right side pretty much clear as I use the right side to jump in during launch.  I also like to net any fish with my right dominant hand, so that's another reason for me to put rod holder and fishfinder on the left side of the yak.

I think it is like snowboarding Regular or Goffy.  Whichever side you are more comfortable.  Make sure to keep one side clear easy on/off the kayak.

Right side. I always get in and out of the left. I also prefer to net fish on the left side.
Usually out of the running for Husband of the Year by January 4th of each year...

Right side. Because I am right handed. Also land fish on the right side, never feel the fish finder is in the way. Maybe it’s a smaller garmin strike 4. Enter and exit kayak from left.

I'm right handed and I have my FF on the right bc I can set and change setting faster. My rod can face either side depending on the conditions.

I just think it's a good idea to keep one side clear in case you need to climb back in some time.

I think I’ll start with the right side being right handed. That’s where I place my rod holder also. I like the idea of keeping one side open.

I have mine in the center installed in the mast hole on my Revo.

It's a tad far to be constantly tinkering with it, but I don't really do that anyways.  Usually just leave it on full screen mode or sometimes 50/50 with the GPS.  I've spent this year really trying to not just stare at the screen and look for clues on the water...aka birds.

I have rod holder on left side with rod crossing the kayak and rod tip on the right side.

lefty, get in and out on the left side, land and net fish on the right side, fish finder up front right.  never gets in the way, good place to watch the rod tip and the fish finder while trolling.

As long as it's forward of my feet, doesn't seem to matter.  I have it rigged right, left, and center depending on kayak.

Mine is in my right side.

It’s where I drilled the hole. I do prefer to net fish with my left hand while i’m chanting “stay on stay on stay on…”

I did get more comfortable sliding back in my kayak from the left as well.

I think the predrilled holes are on the right of my future Outback as well
