Hello. Several friends and I are attempting  to locate a resort in British Colombia where we can rent a kayak and fish. No firm date has been established yet.Primarily we want to fish for Salmon  and halibut. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I lived in Victoria for six years, but haven’t fished there. I know Nootka is amazing. Gold River too. You can also try the Campbell River area. But really BC throughout is outstanding fishing

I have towed the boat up a few times.  Camper, and we stayed at Salmon Point resort Campbell River.  You might email them and ask who rents kayaks.   Or buy a couple Hobie Inflatables and drive up.  Is about a 1000 miles from Bay area.  Or toss your kayaks you have now on the vehicle and drive.  Vancouver Island is a neat place to explore.

I saw an episode on Kayak Fishing Tales Youtube and grabbed this link.  The video is on the Kayak Fishing Tales channel.  British Colombia in the search bar.

“I’m going fishing.”  They said, “we will go with you.”
