Not mine. Seems unusual to sell alone ? Makes me want to put a small engraving id on mine.

Might be some stuff sticking out among the sand and rocks after storms..

A few of mine I wonder where they went: Dive weight vest/harness, Riffe euro gun, boogie board float w/cordura medic bag , blue game bag w/some mangy dungies

I dont recall stolen being priced like brand new. I have more faith in people and always try to give the benefit of the doubt. I live in a safe neighborhood where sometimes I forget Rods, drives or my gears out for a day or 2 and still there when I get back. Who knows the guys might have bought as spare or while his/hers is in repair and realized doesnt need it anymore. I dont judge people i never walk a mile on their shoes, maybe thats just me.
Live today for tomorrow's sake.

I once bought a spare from a local SC gal finding it during an extremely low tied walking her dog. You can hear and feel the sand grinding in the drive.

The ad says it’s new and in the box, so he probably didn’t find it in the sand on a beach. I don’t see anything that looks suspicious about it. On the other hand, not sure why anybody would buy it at that price….

It says “still in the factory box” so unlikely to be stolen (unless this person works at the Hobie factory…)

I know of him.   He is a legend in his own mind.  Putin is behind this.

You never know. A person might buy one and get told by a doctor to quit kayaking. Maybe lost a leg and has to paddle. Bought a torqueedo. Whatever. I’m looking for one for my SC Raptor G2.
Warning! Retiree; Knows it all and has plenty of time to tell you about it.

Unless you desperately need 180, you can get a GT drive for less than 2/3rds of the price.
