Made a run to Brown's Ravine this morning. I haven't been to Folsom this summer... the water is low.:smt009  The main ramp is closed, the Hobbie ramp is open. I drove down west of the ramp and launched off the bank. Windy this morning, so I paddled west so I could drift back with the wind. Got no love..not even a nibble. Off the water a 10am. Headed to Starbucks for coffee (also bought the 1967 Monterey Pop fest set, very cool). Noticed a wreck at the Blue Ravine intersection. A group of people were standing around something or someone in the street. Turned out to be a jet ski took a crunch on the pavement.

Better than yard work...Al

Don't feel bad Al, I had the same luck up at Oroville this weekend houseboatin' and yakkin'. I did get a coho to bite but that was it.

As for the jet ski vs asphalt, I hear they don't run too well on the hard stuff.   :smt044
