Rig rap

I love the Plano guide series tackle boxes, but when you have Sabiki rigs or other rigs, I find that they don’t work so well.
So I gave this Rig Rap product a try. And here’s what I learned:
- it’s a pain to wrap the line at first; there are so many grooves where it can get stuck. Same thing for unwinding.
- it holds things very secure. Nothing moves inside
- once I got used to it, I find it better than previous storage solutions I’ve used (pool noodle or ziplock bags)
- I put the gear back in the box before landing, so when I come home I just spray the inside with fresh water and let dry. It’s ready for the next trip. Very efficient time wise
- since there’s no need to use the Plano box, now there’s one less thing to wash!
