My foldable from harbor freight is so versatile. It hauls my kayak, aluminum boat and serves as a flatbed trailer as well. Been with me for about 10 yrs.

If anyone is looking for a Harbor Freight foldable, I have one that was gifted to me by Antonio CDM.  I never ended up using it, and I'm sure he'd be more than happy for me to pay it forward to someone NCKA.  It's just the frame, never had a deck put on it.  And one of the rolling casters is broken off.  But the trailer was functional when I towed it home a couple years ago.  Post a picture of you and Antonio, and it's yours.  It's unregistered.

Here’s my in progress harbor freight 1720lb kayak trailer. It’s a modular system, so undo the Ubolts and the whole structure comes off leaving you with a flat bed.

Needs paint, some misc tabs for straps, and PVC tubes for the kayaks.
Made to fit two kayaks up top. 90” weatherguard lock boxes. 36” gap down middle can fit a third kayak, or the cooler on the back and crab traps in the center. Upgraded the cheap 5.30-12 tires to 175/80R13 6 play radials - these needed 1" wheel spacers. Honestly the wheels are one of my favorite upgrades. Those stock ones always had me worried.

Alex, I met you this time of year last year on the A-Z foundation Veteran's Bodega charter trip. I saw they made it out again last week, but I didn't make it. Hope you've been well.

I like your modular idea.  I think it’s better than the way I did mine which makes the trailer pretty much a kayak trailer. It would be nice to be able to use it to haul other things. Mine is screwed and glued together and to the frame.
Here are some old pics. I’ve made a couple of mods since then.
"Pedo Viejo" is what Antonio called me.

As happy as I am in this pic, it was difficult to search for and pull it up.   :smt010  Although I'd love a free trailer, I'd be happy if it went to someone else who needs it and posts up.

Who else has them? I’d love to see some more custom trailers.

I had never met Antonio, but nice on the trailer give away. Cool it’s going to his people.

Als what’s your plans for it? Kayak trailer?

I actually made a CAD model to proportion out my trailer and get a cut list for the steel. I have a four wheel camper (pop up cabover) on my truck a lot. Been running the trailer just as a flat bed, but this will be nice this season for all the extra gear and traps
