Hey NCKA,

need some SCKA help.

Headed to San Diego next week and want to go fishing with my son, but have only 1 kayak.  Anyone know of and have good experience with a kayak rental in SD?

Would also like to find a kayak fishing guide SD - so looking for any experience you all might of had.

Thanks,
Brian.

Check out San Dog Kayak adventures. 619-800-0998, Glenn.

I haven't used his services, but ran into him on LJ beach earlier this year. They have Hobie passports and others for day rental. I believe he is a guide too.

+1 For Jim Sammons. He's no Bushy, but a kayak fishing legend none the less.

San Dog got back to me, but not Sammons yet , I'll reach out to him again today - seems to be a favorite among the NCKA tribe.

yep, got some hoops.  Now just deciding if I launch them from Kayak (need a light for my yak) or off a pier or jetty (family can be involved)

Jim Sammons got back to me, sounds like he is recovering from a shoulder injury - so I'll hook up with him on another trip.
