In Hatch Tackle Bucket For Stealth Kayaks

So I designed and printed one of these for myself.  I might make a couple of minor changes for drainage but it works great and fits in the hull.  It does not require any drilling.  Holds pliers, and one other tool beside them, a couple of bags of plastics, hooks, a spool of leader, and has some slots for lures or hooks to hang. 

Any interest in this?

How am I going to get blood and fish slime all over everything?

I love the fish hatch on the Stealth but mine turns into a total mess by the end of a successful day on the water. I’ve been able to organize most of my tackle in the pockets of my PFD, but water, snacks, hat sunglasses, and other odds and ends end up at the bottom of the hatch.

Nice innovatin. Storage ability is nice.

One roll or a flopping fish could have sharpies and small bits scattered and strewn?

I matched the bolt pattern of the foot pedals.  So it fastens to the hull.  You can see where it’s fastened in one of the photos.

Yea, so ideally the jigs will be in the slots only while on the water.  I would not try and Launch on a rough day with the jigs in the slots.  Maybe I’ll design a closer version with a hinged lid.

Edit:  as I look at it I can put a rubber band or Velcro strap around the front using the existing reliefs on each side of the bin

Increased the dimension between the inside of the braid cutter slot and the main body.  On version 1 I originally modeled it with 2 separate pockets, however for ease of printing I merged them into one large pocket with a rid dividing the 2 make one for pliars and one for braid cutters.  However I forgot to increase the depth for the braid cutter so in v2 it has been resolved.  I also increased the size of the drain holes inside the bin

If anyone wants one of these ill print and ship for $30.
