I would like to make one more hunt for a keepable salmon before Friday's rockfish opener.  Anyone up for coming down to Monterey?  A Coastsider reported "hogs" at 36'36/122.00. We could launch from Carol Street, Lover's Point, or Stillwater.  If you know of another launch, I would be up for it as well.  Today, a Coastsider reports success in 300' at 36'40/121'52.  But, there is no 300' at that location.  Since he also sited the Pt Pinos buoy, perhaps he meant 36'40/121'57.

Pat,
I wish I could join you.  After Sat's debacle, I really got the itch to land some salmon.  A lot of times the fish tend to move, so hot one day doesn't necessarily mean it will be good a few day's later.

Spoke to my friend again today re my motor.  With no water exiting, he suspects its the hard rubber impeller is toast.

Anyways, after motor talk, we got on fish and he's fishing tomorrow south of Moss around the old B bouy area.  The report was that it was good there today.  He also said that commie salmon will open up again on July 4th(?), so those guys will probably slow things down, so get them now.

Good Luck on Tues,
Stuart

Thanks, Stuart
Yeah.  It seems that each day a different spot is hot.  So, I figured I would go with what makes sense to me and stop trying to chase the report from the day before........:)
