I have an Outback that I use for ocean and lake fishing.  I am looking at the Lynx as a second boat for the wife. Would probably only be a lake boat but she might want to go out crabbing in Bodega when we go there.  Actually looks like it may be a decent platform for crabbing.   Anyone have any experience with these yet?  From what I have read, it sounds like the the shell may be a little thinner than other thermoformed kayaks, like eddyline.  When I am in lakes, I mainly troll for Kokanee and trout so I am a little concerned that the flat bottom will not track very well especially with the downrigger deployed.  And does anyone know of anywhere that may have them in stock?

I went to CCK the other day and filmed an extensive review. I just need to get the footage together and finish up the edits this week. I'll post when it's done. I'm hoping to have it out this week.

CCK in Oakland has it to DEMO. Supply chain for Hobies is pretty tight right now tho. FYI.

CCK Redwood city also has one to demo. Went and checked it out a few weeks ago and its actually a lot more boat than I expected. would be a fun flyfishing platform

I was thinking similar, second boat in case any of my kids or friends want to join.  Haul all the extra stuff on my PA, let them work with just what they need.

I like many of the concepts of the boat, including the foam core - vs. rotomold - really keeps the with down. Hoping they take a fresh look at something in the Outlook/PA space with these techniques, could be a winner.

really interested to hear the honest feedback of any NCKA folks who've bought and used one for a while.

I’ll take that as a “no”…
