Hungry Seal Shelter Cove

Dude that is spooky! My first thought was shark when I saw the photo. Then saw everybody else’s reply. Most sealions will yank on a stringer to try to rip the fish off—you would definitely notice & feel it…they can’t bite a fish in half like that. They have teeth like a dog. That’s why you see them throwing/tossing fish on the surface, they’re trying to tear them apart into bite-size chunks.

I took a video of this once, a sea lion somehow had gotten hold of a leopard shark, and was just thrashing it around back and forth trying to get a chunk out of it to swallow.
