Drill baby drill!  Scored my rack for 40$ at picknpull, let the games begin...

Dropping the headliner looks like a headache and Eddie mentioned putting the rack closer to the front for kayak transport vs. luggage...

I needed to pull the headliner down on three of my past vehicles to install a rear dash cam. Not to bad using plastic trim tools as stuff just snaps off and back. A few things might need to be unscrewed. One thing to worry about is if your car has side curtain air bags. If so, you will want to disconnect the battery so it won't discharge if you upset it by mistake.

Thanks for that.  I’ll take my time.  Gonna try to keep it drivable in the process in case I gotta drop everything and serve a haircut. :smt006

I know that thing is WAY lighter, but my big tuna developed oil can divots where it sat on the pads of my seawing. Hit me up if you need the solution.

Yes sir, I did score minor canning after 5 years.  Presently not torquing down super tight.  What is the solution?  I have a new rack system coming but will use the seawings for dual transport.  Eating well I see... :smt006

Did you get the Lockracks, Eddie?

No. I saw Rokkit Kit using them. Watched a vid where he loaded up and then asked him about the racks. Stoked for you

I saw this...now my wheels are turning ...they can be adapted for trailers  too   LOL
Built with fiberglass surf skis in mind...I have to fabricate a loader bar for the rack to assist from side of van... :smt006
