Folsom Lake is well below its seasonal level by about 60 feet and speed limit on lake is 5mph.  It is going to be a long dry summer. "good news" for kayaks as we wont have nearly the number of PB's to be concerned about.  Not sure if other area lakes are as impacted.

Up North, I heard the Klamath is in really bad shape as well; which is more concerning for the salmon population.

yah, folsom is actually quiet with the water levels down.  I hooked into a king salmon last weekend, but it threw the hook - my fault, first time I'd hooked into one, and it's behavior really threw me.
