Monterey Bay South on 05/23/2021

Hey all! Happy Sunday!

Was able to get out on the water today. It was the first almost perfect weather of the season, that I could get out on the water anyway. The forecast was for 2-4 swells with 7kts or less wind. It was pretty accurate, although had a couple of swells around 6 feet.

It started slow and I kept a couple that were on the small end. I was starting to make my way back to shore and it went off. I couldn't miss and they were taking anything I was throwing in. I doubled up a couple of times. I ended up getting the back half of the limit on rockfish in about 15 minutes after spending 2 hours catching the first half.
