Hi All, SaltyAPG here. Just purchased the Old Town Salty PDL and hoping for a better fishing experience than with my old Malibu two ocean kayak. Good start as I went out for the first time in Carmel and reeled in my 1st Ling Cod (blue).

New to ocean fishing but seems like fun. Mostly will be fishing off highway 4 near Bear Valley.

Right on, I also upgraded to a Salty from a Malibu 2! haven't taken mine to the salt water yet - seems to always be too windy on my days off. Hope to see some pictures of how you have you Salty rigged up
