Met up with Adam / Fish Hunter and Tim (Tin)....saw a lot of bait under the bridge pillings but no stripers to be found. We met SteveS later on we we paddled inland to no avail. Basically we did more exercising and fishing than catching....still a better way of spending the day  :smt002 Weather was nice and hot...wind was blowing us back as we were making our way to the launch site.

I predict Fish Hunter will be "fishing....or stalking" this place more often  :smt002.....Adam, care to explain "why" :smt003

Met up with Mooch and Tin at San Quentin / wind-surfers's launch by the Ferry Terminal in hopes of finding stripers chasing bait in the sloughs and channels. The bait was there, just NOTING CHASING THEM.
We did see something hitting the top at a few spots and i marked only a few fish the whole day out.

Pic1~ Mooch & Tin taking down the yaks

Pic2~ Group Shot

Pic3~ Tin w/Mt.Tam in the background, on his way to the sloughs

word on the RR tracks was "the NCKA ambassador" was padding up they're way and that the bridge had BETTER BE UP!...and it was.

pic4~ Mooch heading the hunt

pic5~ the ambassador gets to pass under

pic6~ right past the ferry area is the backyard of OUTBACK KAYAKS, they have a rental fleet w/angler friendly set-ups.

Put in 6.5mi of watertime with my brudahs on a day that the DAMN WIND was BLOWIN EVERYWHERE ELSE.

No FISH MOUTHS WERE HARMED on this trip....and it's TOO BAD there wasn't!
(side cry:jiggin them 6oz. swimbaits in the ocean and HOOKIN FISH is a wholelot funner than just paddlin for fun)WEAH!!

How do we combine these two post together?  MOOCH can it be done? (is it worth it?)

...and Bigfoot wins the prize!    a LIFTIME of MEMORIES(or mammories)   I would have taken a few pics to "prove my story" but that would have been perverted!....so i just had to break out the binoculars(OMG!) I never knew Mt.Tam to be so "scenic" and if i had stayed to enjoy it/them any longer?,my buddies would have left me behind.

The new location for this is in code: x-niceTnA(gps ordinance)

Good try guys!

Tin, you need to work on your East Bay scowl  :smt093... :smt002

I can't wait till the fish move back in to that area.  It can be nonstop action when it's good.
