My name is Grace, I grew up in Alameda but just last August I really started appreciating the close proximity to water/fishing. I'm officially a proud owner of a kayak that weighs as much as me. So if you see a tiny human lugging around a black vibe shearwater just know, it is being pulled by determination and muscle milk.

Hey Grace, welcome to NCKA! One of my friends just bought a black Shearwater. He went halibut fishing for the first time at ARW last Sunday, and caught a nice 26".

welcome!  alameda is a great place to fish this time of year for halibut.  a lot of us frequent that area.
