I have two 2010 Hobie Adventure Islands plus a double trailer (Trailex made for AI's) for sale. I have loved using them for fishing and sailing, but haven't been able to use them much since my son came along about 5 years ago. I have kept them stored inside my garage since I bought them. They have only been used in fresh water.

Unfortunately, they are now taking up needed garage space, so it's time for them to go.

In addition to standard gear I have extra Mirage drive fins, a spare tire for the trailer, and a Hobie kayak cart to pull the boats on the beach.

I am asking $4500 or best offer.

I may be in the market for a trailer in the near future. If you end up piecing the kayaks out and are left with the trailer, let me know. Good luck with the sale!

Nice. May be time to start my AI collection.

Is the mast base is male or female? The rudder looks like twist and stow, is that correct? And what version of the mirage drive? Cam locks on the mirage drive?

Being 2010 vs 2008 is a big plus, as there were some significant improvements in the early ('07 and '08) model years. That looks like an aluminum Trailex trailer, with Hobie cradles and the whole 9 yards. That's top-of-the-line for hauling an AI (or 2).

It's so very tempting, as I could own my own AI fleet! But my wife would surely kill me, so I'll probably have to pass...

Yes, that's an aluminum Trailex trailer with Hobie cradles, the whole 9 yards, as you say. Glad to hear they're a nice improvement over the 2008 model.

Sorry to hear that your wife isn't in favor of them. Can't you sell the idea to her by saying she would have her own boat? She can go her own way in it.
