Hookup Shasta Lake Sunday 3/7/21

hmm 3 hour drive - whats biting up there, definitely want to get the yak and my line wet this weekend.  Was thinking maybe Bullards Bar or possibly the SF Bay

My buddy says ned rigs 30-40 ft down. He was out yesterday

BBT, bass are always hungry up here, and we will be trolling for trout as well.

Sounds really fun. I'd be down to make this trip later in the summer. Lake trinity is a little closer for me as well if you plan a trip there later. Good luck!

Did you make it out? how was the fishing.  I spent the weekend getting my racks setup, and trying to simplify the loading method for my car (was using my wifes mini-van) - saw on another post a guy hit it big on Berryessa

I'm 5 mins from Centmudi but I'm planning on hitting Trinity at Fairview for morning kokes and first whack at Chinooks, then backup at lewiston if the wind picks up.

Shasta.  I’m coming up from Santa Rosa so I will sleep in my truck.  Are the bass biting yet?

Not great yet we only picked up a couple each, but we did fish at the dam and that can be pretty slow. it is still cold up here, 39* this morning, give it a couple of week and it will be on fire.
