Alameda Launch

Any one know current status of the Launch . Is the beech open or closed??

The ramp was open this morning. Beach at the launch is closed off.

Anyone know if access to the base lagoon area/beach, opposite the boat ramp, is still closed off or opened? The construction guys said that they'll have renovation done by Thanksgiving.  Thanks.

Do you guys know of any other good Alameda launches besides by the high school by chance?

There is a ramp facility at the end of Grand Street, which puts you into the inner tidal canal opposite Coast Guard island. It is a long paddle to the Rock Wall from there tho. Every once in awhile I hear/see squadrons of small PBs chasing stripers in San Leandro Bay (Arrowhead Marsh), but never heard of more than dinks being reported.
