I'm not doing the swim this year, so maybe I'll be a paddle chaperone.  Anyone care to join me?

Greetings everyone,

I apologize for the mass email however we are nearing race day and though I have certainly heard from some of you with interests in volunteering once again for our race, we do still need quite a few water safety volunteers so am hoping with this email and a follow up call this week we can confirm participation for many of you this year! We need at least 50 boats, kayaks, surfers or jet skis on the water and we are not even close! My hope is to have closer to 65 to be on the safe side so please do consider coming back or passing this opportunity on to others that might be interested.

Once again the RCP Tiburon Mile Swim will take place on Sunday, September 16th to benefit Special Olympics Northern California.  I will provide you with all boat launch information, times and details as we get closer.

Thank you in advance for your support of our race and of course for Special Olympics Northern California. Your participation helps to keep our swimmers safe and we are so very appreciating of your time.

Please let me know if I look forward to seeing you all on event day and thank you to those that have already confirmed with me.

All the best,

Christine Wilson
