hello from San Rafael

Hello, my name is Ed and I live in San Rafael and have fished mostly from a boat or shore for most of my life. I do not have kayak at this time but have fished from one a few times in the past. I am considering getting into this fishing addiction but wanted to do some research before getting my feet wet. I hope to learn from you and hopefully in the future have a chance to fish with some of you.

Thank you guys, I was registered here back in 2011 and for some reason I just never posted anything. I dont know why it took so long to get back to this site. but I sure am glad I did. I have been in the safety first posts and I can tell there are a bunch of really smart experienced fishermen here who actually care about each others safety. It didnt take to much reading to realize how everyone has put safety as a number 1 priority, especially in how you answer the questions based on a a newbies level of skill.That is truly comforting to know,
