I have the Angler model available to test paddle = Thanks to Aquan and Mike Mowrey of Ocean Kayaks.....

I will be at the San Mateo Aquatic Park this Thursday (Aug 9) after work (5:30PM) - Please let me know if you plan to make it.

Next Wednesday (Aug 15), if there is enough interest, I will make a trip to Stevens Creek after work (5:45PM) - Please let me know if you can make it.

I'll try to make it, Joel. I have a job deadline at the end of the week and won't know until Thursday if it is going to require working extra hours.

I'm sure you can get Allen / Pole Pole to hook you up with a demo

As far as pimpin.....my "fully loaded" (FF,rudder, rod holders) kayak has not been shipped yet but I'm thinking of just getting the "non-angler" so I can do some modifications myself. The Trident has a lot of deck space to play with. I'll most likely put a FF first and save the rest of the pimpin for a winter project

Anyway, I got to paddle the Trident for about 10 minutes at Albion....the first thing I noticed is that it was definitely a dry ride compared to my Prowler 15....I'll post more about it when I get the chance to paddle it in big water.
