FF for T13 with Sonar Shield

Gurus of NCKA, please recommend me a new FF that will fit the older style Trident 13's with the fish finder hatch/sonar shield. I've started doing a bit of research myself, but most of the info is outdated. Hard to tell if the newer models that are available now will fit under the sonar shield. I'll be buying one as a gift for an angler with a T13 and one for myself (diver) to replace my dead Lowrance Hook5. I liked the features of the Hook5 when it worked.

Main Criteria:
-As big as possible that fits in the Sonar Shield
-GPS and Downscan for structure/depth
-Color screen
-(Bonus) Transducer that fits in the scupper hole without protruding

I put my Garmin on the mod pod so it's closer to me and easy to use. I find the hatch to be too far in front to be practical.
I use the Garmin striker 4

I didn't put mine on the hatch, I used a ball mount and extension mounted next to the shield to bring it closer, I liked it much better than when I had it installed under the cover.  For a potential rough landing I could detach it and stow it under the cover strapped down without unplugging it.

Thanks guys, but mine will 100% be going under the Sonar Shield.

So here's what I'm looking at so far. Hummingbird Helix 5 CHIRP GPS G2 plus the scupper transducer. I'm gravitating toward Hummingbird because apparently the scupper hole on the T13 is shaped for a Hummingbird transducer.

Questions:
-Anyone with good/bad experience with this model?
-Can anyone confirm that it will fit in the T13 sonar shield on the included gimbal mount?
-(For my angler friend) Do anglers find Down Imaging and Side Imaging actually useful?
