Hey there,  hope all is well.

I'm was wondering if anyone is planning to fish out of Fort Ross the weekend of the 7th.  I'm hoping to be out there Saturday but I don't have a fishing buddy.  I (and my wife as well) would feel safer if I can meet up with one or two fellow anglers just to know someone will have my back and vise verse if something goes wrong.  I'm a good swimmer and PADI certified diver with plenty of experience in the blue but I won't lie, I do get nervous being out by myself.  Not looking for anyone to hold my hand, just want to know I won't be out there by myself.  Let me know, feel free to pm me.  Take care, tight lines!

Hey Jason,

If you can belt out 8 more posts you can view the members only Hook Up section. I see there are already a few planning to launch Fort Ross, or Timber Cove.

thanks for the info!

rnrgeek - you drive past the actual fort itself the road goes around to the cove.  You can see the road on google maps.

Seas will be high on the 7th, you may want to blow it off for a week.

Yeah I was hoping to go out this weekend, but like Bluebarge says the forecast doesn't look too good.  If it improves, I may join you though.

Yep, I've been keeping an eye on it.   Definitely choosing to postpone this trip.  Its a shame, my availability to get out this time of year is really limited.  Too much fun stuff to do, duck hunting, pyramid lake fishing,,, then there's the honey do's that consume about 90% of my free time.

Anyone planning on going out this weekend in that area? If so I'd love to join. If not looks like I'll be going pig hunting alone.

Hey, Bigmarv1.  I will be duck hunting the next few weeks.  I do want to get up there in December before the 31th.  I'll message you when I can get out.  There's a couple other guys who have showed interest in going as well.
