Anybody knows what these are for? Can I use them to mount something?

P.S. Kayak in picture is not mine.

I’ve been wondering myself. I think it holds something behind, but I never looked.
Btw, we have the same color Revo 16  :smt008

I'm to lazy to go out to the backyard to look, but I believe they hold the pullies for the rudder system.

Thanks, this would make sense.

I'm thinking about adding mount/rail around there and was hoping I could drill fewer holes.

If you are putting extra backing or using long screw, make sure they don't make interfere with the lines.

I can give you a few tips :
Always put your hand inside where you plan on drilling to verify nothing is in the way. Use the same metal for screws, nuts, and washers. When tightening screws, make sure they don’t reach too far inside (it happened to me!) as this will damage your hull. If you need to hold a bolt in place inside (say on a backing piece of plastic), then use electrical tape. That’s enough to catch the bolt with the screw. Then pluck the tape and use a wrench to hold the bolt for final tightening.
Good luck!
