Join me at Linda Mar, Saturday October 24

Hi

I am new to this site, so please let me know if it’s in the wrong forum or if there are other issues.

I am a novice fisherman but an experienced kayaker. I am looking for someone to join me fishing on Saturday, October 24, out of Linda Mar, Pacifica. Ready to go on the water at 9:00AM. Meet on the extreme South end of the beach. Head out to San Pedro Rock to try for Rock fish and Ling Cod. Stay out for 2 or 3 hours.

Magicseaweed forecast, as of today,  Wednesday, says waves 2 to 4 feet, major swell is about 4 ft at 10 seconds. Light wind from the South.

Safety means to me that you should be dressed for immersion in cold water and skilled with launching and landing through the modest surf.

Hey, following up with this after the matter... how do you find launching from the south end of Linda Mar vs Rockaway beach?

I feel like Rockaway usually has smaller surf, but I'm not pulling from much experience there.

I'm again looking to launch at Linda Mar for this saturday if anyone is looking to put a crew together.

I'm interested in fishing Linda Mar/Rockaway on Sat.

Rockaway actually gets much bigger than Linda Mar, but it's a deeper break, so it needs more swell to actually break. So on small swells, it's a better bet to launch than Lindy because it likely won't break on the south end.

lets see what NOAA says about the Saturday surf as we get closer, it's grown since earlier in the week but I still have faith getting into either Rockaway or Linda Mar. 

If surf launches don't work out again, you know where I'll be... hit me up on 69 if ya head out of HMB on Saturday.
