I started kayak fishing to get away from most of you...

It was super foggy. So, I launched off NE side of TI and hugged the island south to the bridge

Yup, you got it. Also, a hoochie on the anchovy face and a "stinger" trebble hook wrapped around and sunk in the tail for the tail bites. So, main hook in nose and trebble in tail. Usually use herring as they hold up better. Anchovy kinda fall apart. Also...big bait=big fish

I tried TI today but had to work AM so started at noon. The milid tides seemed good, wind was calm and I found the NE put-in. Slow bottom troll with a herring on FBR. Thought I had a good Hali, but then it ran, peeling drag, abruptly came off and bait was hardly scarred. I'm thinking maybe it was a mud marlin. Wind came up around 1:30 pm, headed in around 3. No other bites.
