Hey all, does anyone know if there is any functional difference between mens and womens PFD's/lifejackets? (Other than watching out for sizing and maybe a little foam sculpting).

I just like the purple OT Solitudes is all, it's 2020 :smt002

There is less buoyancy on the women's models.  According to an answer from OT customer service on the product page, these are the buoyancy specs:

Solitude Mens
All Sizes =17 lbs. 2 oz.

Solitude Women
XS= 17 lbs.

Solitude Women
S/M, L/XL= 16 lbs. 7 oz.

anything over 12lbs is typically enough buoyancy to keep an adult floating.  Fit is the most important aspect, so make sure that is right for you.  If you like purple then go for it.
