Hey folks,  was out at Caspar Beach south of fortbragg today and was trying my hand at a little surf fishing since the swells were kind of gnarly today for the kayak..

I ended up catching a few sculpin and used one for bait.  Well ended up getting this guy.  My first one.   BIG Skate,  fun fish to catch and release..

I 8 skate wing b4 and it was surprisingly good. Cartilaginous fillet, kinda flaky n mild.
