Santa Cruz Halibut Report

Fished with a handful of buddies out in front of the harbor this morning for 1 short flattie,  a few rockfish and an 8 lb ling, on squid and dead dinos. Drifted from the lighthouse down to 26th street beach. The halibut was caught at the harbors mouth before coming in. Only a matter of time til they start showing up in numbers. Everything seems to be about a month behind this year.
