Hi All,
I'm new to not only the forum but also to kayak fishing.  Always looking for people to get on the water with in the North Bay and figuring out a new form of fishing.

Really glad that I have found this forum to connect with you all.

Welcome! Be sure to check out the Safety section, especially the first two sticky posts: http://www.norcalkayakanglers.com/index.php?board=47.0

Safety is no joke, we've already lost a couple of kayak fishermen this year. I'm in the North Bay as well, Petaluma to be exact.

Thanks all.  Safety is a priority for me.  I'd rather not die or need to call the Coast Guard while out there.  Great information in the Safety First section on the forum.  Back to practicing my self-rescues...
FeoPronk lets try and connect on an outing.  Tomales perhaps?

Weekends are generally family time for me, and I don't like crowds, so if I do fish on a weekend it won't be from a popular launch. But if you are free during the week and see a light-wind day at Tomales on the forecast, hit me up!

FeoPronk: I'm not a fan of weekends and tend to work those days anyhow.  Not much of a fan of people, so won't need to worry about crowds with me  (insert smiley emoji, I'm also not a huge computer person...).  Will drop you a note when the stars align for Tomales.

Hello! I'm also new here. Still working on getting a kayak to use but maybe once that happens we can meet up and fish some time. I'm just up in Petaluma and really want to get after some crab and rockfish on the Sonoma and Marin Coast. Hope to see you around sometime.
