I think jim loves him some cabbies. When he is done playing with them he sometimes eats there stomach content. 

Got skunked at HMB today.  Was my first time there so really just getting the place mapped out  in my head.  I have a better idea of where to focus my efforts for next time.

My first time at HMB as well and also my first time targeting salmon. Trolled for 2 hours then hooked up by the red buoy. Fought it for like 10 minutes before it spit the hook. Nothing after that. Today I learned salmon fishing on a kayak is hard af. Trying to keep tension with the right amount of drag, pedaling, steering, cranking up the downrigger and half a dozen other kayakers watching you can be a lot of pressure. Lol. It was an exhilarating rush while it lasted and so crushing when it ends

Trolled WMA for 5 hours, caught the bottom 3 times, and 1 sardine. Switched to swim baits for the last hour, and caught 1 keeper Cabezon, 1 undersized ling, and a bunch of bites.

MFS - I heard that whole hookup and loss go down over the VHF radio.  Major highs and lows for sure!!
