Hey NCKA do you think this is a good deal. The repairs and slight water in the hull concerned me, but I wasn’t sure how big of a deal that was.

There were cracking issues in the drive well associated with the earlier model Outbacks, as evidenced in the pics.  IMO, I would avoid the older models and invest in a new or newer model Outback with the click-in drive.

I think that’s a little too much of an asking price, like it didn’t depreciated at all. I sold my 2015 Outback with sailing rudder and turbo fins for $1500 last year. Like Bird have said, look for a newer 2010 and up model with a click in drive receiver

+1000 it is very over priced kayak. If you are lucky enough you might find some 2012-2015 for almost the same amount if not less.

Not a good deal.
I just sold my 2014 Outback earlier this year for $1300.
