Introduction

Hello All,
 
After years of whitewater kayaking and shore fishing, I finally wised up and combined the two. 

Craigslist provideth, just got a new (to me) kayak and am looking forward to exploring SF bay.  Hope to scour the safety first thread and make sure my kit is ship-shape, then would love to connect with people in/around the East Bay.  I don't want to burn anyone's best spots, but would be grateful for the opportunity to get going with the more seasoned here.
