I'm hoping someone can help me. I have a Lowrance Elite 4X HDI.
Today it was giving me problems. It powers up fine, but the screen doesn't show the bottom or any of the usual specks, blobs, and baitballs.
But it DOES show the depth. So the sonar is working, but it's not displaying it on the screen. I'm hoping it's the transducer cable and not a problem with the device itself.
Anyone ever have this issue? Any suggestions? I tried powering off and restarting, and I undid the cables and reconnected, also no luck.
Thanks!
Andrew

I've had that issue before and re-run the Wizard start up program. This may clear saved info but the FF works again.

That worked! Thanks! I reset the factory settings, and all is good.

Yes doing a restart or reset the settings works. Mine goes to night mode a lot so I have to reset it almost every time I take it out.
