If you are not packed, you should temporarily open your business to adults too.
Many of us can use a good hair cut.  My wife tries but I miss my normal hair cut.

Oh yeah!  Been serving grandparents on down to grandkids and everyone in between for 22 years now.  Kids are a niche that covers many types of hair and personalities.  It seems many more dads nd moms want to consolidate towards a smaller trusted salon and gratefully I’m the only employee so they are more at ease with no client overlap.  Come on down...mention NCKA and get both a lolly and a balloon regardless of your salty attitude...haircut  might turnout as well...

May I suggest a crazy idea? Place an elevated kayak out there for kids to sit while you cut their hair

Oooooo my kinda thinkin'...there is a kayak in the salon presently...hmmm...ergonomics aside...I should put one on a sandbox springy toy mount and lettum have at it...better up my insurance...

Yeah buddy, first day today and I'm beat.  15 haircuts with mass sanitation and looking over my shoulder for Mr. or Ms. Clipboard...did well and tomorrow I should be able to refine my system...
